Scholarship Tips
  • You should NOT have to pay to submit a scholarship application!
  • Check this page often.  It is updated regularly!
  • The FAFSA is most often a student's main source of financial aid, and required for many scholarships.  Complete it in October!
  • Do not wait until the last minute to submit scholarship applications.  Many portals close well before midnight on the day they're due.
  • Have someone you trust look over your scholarship applications (i.e. Ms. Young, Ms. England, a teacher, a parent, etc.)
  • Many colleges have their own application or online portal for internal scholarships. Check the procedures at each college you apply to.
