2-hour delay for December 13th

Mount Airy City Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for Wednesday, December 13 with the option to close. If we move from a 2-hour delay to closed, you will receive a phone call. News outlets, as well as our regular inclement weather outlets, will be updated by 8:00 am if there is a change from delayed to closed.

STEAM Lead Named

Mount Airy City Schools is pleased to announce that Mr. Garrett Howlett has been named Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) Lead Teacher. This teaching/administrative role will have Mr. Howlett teaching two courses at Mount Airy High School, working closely with STEAM teachers throughout the district, and leading related initiatives. He will start his new role beginning January 2018.
