Principal's Message

Mount Airy High School Family,

What an honor and privilege to serve as principal of Mount Airy High School. As a MAHS graduate, I understand and value the tradition of excellence established in both academics and athletics. I am excited about this opportunity to help lead the school and work closely with each of you.

Our students are willing to work hard, ask good questions and give their best effort. I also promise to give my best everyday as we discover news ways to make MAHS an even better place for our students to learn.

By working together with our students, staff and school community, our goal is to prepare all students for life beyond high school. Some students may attend a four-year university, earn a two-year degree or immediately join the workforce. Some students will remain unsure of their goals. As a staff, we will help provide knowledge, resources and opportunities to explore possible career pathways and life choices.

We will listen and provide opportunities to sit down and learn from our students and school community. Your input will be valued as we continue to help meet the needs of each and every student.
