-Cap & gown orders are happening now! Order here by September 1st and check it off the senior to-do list!
 
-Senior Meetings are taking place in September & October. These meetings are mandatory for students, and serve to update counselors on their plans and receive information and resources to help them take their next steps. Students have a link to sign up for a meeting in their email. Parents/guardians are welcome, but not required to attend!
 
-We have a new Surry Community College Success Adviser. Morgan Newton will be on campus on Tuesdays to help students with anything related to SCC. Her email address is [email protected].
 
-Strawbridge will be on campus on Friday, October 2nd for Senior Portrait make-ups/retakes.
 
-Our Next Step Advisor, Mr. Nail, is on campus each Tuesday and Thursday, as well as Friday afternoons in the Bear Cave (new location!). He is happy to talk with students and families about goals and plans for after high school!
TRANSCRIPTS
 
  • MAHS Transcripts: There are 3 ways students can have high school transcripts sent to colleges and universities: 
  1. Common App - If you applied through Common App, add Mrs. Henson (Last Names A-K) or Mrs. Zurita (Last Names L-Z) as your counselor. They will upload your transcript as part of your School Report.
  2. College for North Carolina (CFNC) - Students can request to send their transcript to any North Carolina college or university through the CFNC Application Hub. Students should use this method if they are applying to a college or university in NC using a platform other than Common App.

  3. MAHS Website - For out-of-state colleges and universities not on the Common App, use THIS LINK to request your transcript.

  • Surry Community College Transcripts: If colleges are asking for your Surry Community College transcript, you have two options:
  1. Official Transcripts: Click Here to order online or visit the Information Desk in the 'A' Building at SCC.

  2. Unofficial Transcripts: Students can download an unofficial SCC transcript from their MyKnightLife account.
