-It is time to order 🎓Caps & Gowns🎓 and other senior items! Click here to view the Jostens School Store. There are many packages to choose from, but the basic cap/gown/tassel/diploma package is $60. You can purchase this by clicking "See All Graduation Products." If you need help covering the cost of the cap & gown, please let us know.
 
-Click here to check out the UNC System Virtual Open Houses. They will be held October 7th-October 15th, and all UNC System schools will be represented.
 
-Mrs. Shumate (formerly Ms. Day), our SCC Student Success Advisor, is available to meet with students in the Blue Bear Café on Tuesdays to help them register for Spring CCP courses. She is also available on SCC's campus Mondays and Wednesdays in the 'A Building'. Students MUST meet with Mrs. Shumate and complete a CCP application each semester. Students can stop by and see Mrs. Shumate or email her at [email protected] with any questions!
 
-Senior Meetings are happening NOW! Select a day and time that works best to chat with Mrs. Henson, Mrs. Zurita, and Ms. White about plans for after high school. Sign up here! Please set a reminder on your phone or Google Calendar so that you do not forget about your appointment!
 
-We have a hub of information in the MAHS Senior Information Folder, and will continue to add important and helpful resources. Check this folder for info about college, career, military, and more!

TRANSCRIPTS
 
  • MAHS Transcripts: There are 3 ways students can have high school transcripts sent to colleges and universities: 
    • Common App - If you applied through Common App, add Mrs. Henson (A-K) or Mrs. Zurita (L-Z) as your counselor, and your school report/transcript gets sent automatically. (If you can see that your school report has been sent, then your transcript has been sent also.)
    • CFNC - for any NC college or university that you applied to outside of Common App, use the link in the CFNC Application Hub to have your transcript sent. This is not automatic, you must use the REQUEST TRANSCRIPT button for each school.
    • MAHS Website (out-of-state / not automatic) - For out-of-state schools not on the Common App, use THIS LINK to have your transcript sent. 
 
  • Surry Community College Transcripts: If colleges are asking for your Surry Community College transcript, you have two options: 
    • If they need an official transcript, you will need to 
    • log into your MyKnightLife portal
    • Scroll all the way to the bottom right
    • Select “Request an Official Transcript”
    • In the top box, use the link that says “Order Your Transcript Online”
    • Follow the instructions to send your transcript (there will be a charge)
    • If they will accept an unofficial transcript, you can find that in the same place 
    •  log into your MyKnightLife portal
    • Scroll all the way to the bottom right
    • Select “Request an Official Transcript”
    • In the bottom box, use the link that says “Request an Unofficial Transcript”
    • Follow the instructions to see/download your transcript and then just take a screenshot (you can take a screenshot on your iPad automatically by using the camera button on the top center of your keypad)
    • You can either upload it into your university portal if that option is available or email it to your assigned university admissions counselor.
