Mount Airy City Schools and the Mount Airy Youth Foundation have partnered for over 50 years in support of Mount Airy High School athletics. A need has emerged for a scoreboard in Wallace Shelton Stadium. These partners have come together to address this need by providing a state-of-the-art scoreboard that will be revealed in fall of 2017. The board will be used for all functions and athletic events that occur in the stadium. We are excited at the possibilities the new scoreboard will provide in enhancing our athletics and community events using digital media content. The board will also provide additional revenue for years to come in supporting Mount Airy High School.
