Help Support Senior, Owen Perkins & Play4Kay

Play4Kay is a nationwide initiative that raises money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund in the fight against all women’s cancers. The Play4Kay Initiative began during the 2004-2005 basketball season, shortly after namesake Coach Kay Yow was diagnosed with cancer for the second time. Since then, Play4Kay has been adopted by nearly every college basketball team in the country, with several high schools participating as well.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund was founded in 2007 and has raised over $5.63 million to fight women’s cancers. These funds are given as grants to institutions performing cancer research.
Please consider making a donation today by clicking this link to visit the MAHS Play4Kay fundraising page and join us for Play4Kay Night on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Mount Airy High School.

We are also looking for cancer survivors to join us on-court for the presentation of the check. Cancer survivors wishing to participate are asked to email [email protected] or call (336)757-6147.

Official 2018-2019 Play4Kay t-shirts are also available for pre-sale through December 20th. Long sleeve shirts are $15, short sleeve shirts are $12. Cash and checks (payable to MAHS Play4Kay). An extremely limited amount will be available for
