Mount Airy City Schools uses Bark for Schools to help us monitor school-issued accounts for signs of digital dangers. When potential issues like cyberbullying, suicidal ideation, and threats of violence arise, Bark sends us a notification. Parents and guardians can benefit from receiving these alerts, as well.

NC Cardinal Student Access

StudentAccess is an initiative that partners NC Cardinal libraries and school systems to provide access to library materials. In addition to Northwestern Regional Library’s entire physical catalog, students and faculty will be able to access many digital resources.

10.29.20 School Closure

Due to possible inclement weather involving high winds, power outages, and bad traveling conditions Mount Airy City Schools will be closed for staff and students on Thursday, October 29. Tomorrow, will not be a remote learning day as students do not have devices and materials needed. We plan to return face-to-face on Friday, October 30.
